This tour starts at approximately 08:00 hrs. and ends at 7:00 p.m., we pass by your hotel, to have a guided tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, on the Vilcanota River, for a panoramic view of the Inca citadel of Pisac and visit the typical Indian market of Pisac , where we will have the opportunity to learn about the customs of its inhabitants and haggle prices with sellers, then we will go to the City of Urubamba, traveling along the Vilcanota River, returning to Cusco between 18:30 and 18:40 hrs .

 

Itinerary

The town of Pisac will be our first point of visit, the town of Pisac has a mestizo architecture built on indigenous remains by the viceroy Toledo. The archaeological complex that forms Pisac would have been built during the tenth and eleventh centuries of our era, during the period of Inca expansion and would have had urban and religious purposes.

Urubamba has beautiful views of the Sacred Valley, this will be our resting point to enjoy our Peruvian cuisine, this moment will be for the privilege of your palates.

Ollantaytambo will be our third point of visit, this beautiful Inca city in Peru is the only one that is still inhabited by local families.

Ollantaytambo was a strategic military, agricultural and religious center to administer and control this part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

The town of Chinchero will be our last point of visit which is located near the Piuray lagoon, Chinchero was chosen by the Inca Tupac Yupanqui for the construction of his residence, years later the current Colonial church of Nuestra Señora de Monserrat.

The town of Chinchero is one of the few places in America where traditional techniques of fiber dyeing are still being used through dyes of vegetable, mineral or animal origin. The weavers of Chinchero traditionally weave in the technique of double face, or double warp face creating textiles of great quality and with traditional designs that reflect their experiences and beliefs, you will be part of a demonstration in which the villagers will show you these ancestral techniques .
